With a wide selection of picture-perfect beaches to choose from, and various accommodation options available the Cooks Beach Community Centre is a great venue for events and special occasions.
Our well maintained Centre has full kitchen facilities (including fridge, dishwasher, cups, saucers and small plates, microwave, pie warmer and stove), toilets, heat pumps, tables and chairs and off street parking. Dinner plates, cutlery, and glassware can be hired. The hall accommodates 100 people (seated) or 120 (buffet-style). See our directory for local caterers.
The Centre is available for hire on weekends, half day, full day and casual rates. A bond is required to book this facility.
Cooks Beach is a very popular holiday destination, especially in the summer season. So if you are planning an event, it pays to book your accommodation well in advance.
If you’re travelling to Cooks Beach in your own vehicle, allow yourself at least 2.5 hours to travel from Auckland International Airport, and between 2.5 and 3 hours to drive from Tauranga or Hamilton.
